Thomas Eubanks, 72, 303 N Oak Street, retired Hytex Brick Co. employee died today at his home. He had been in ill health for two years. Born May 9, 1900 in Alaska County, Kentucky, he was the son of Johnathan and Pearly Eubanks. He was married to Ruth Pennock August 28, 1926. She survives. He was a member of the Smartsburg Chrisitian Church. Other survivors include two stepbrothers, Thomas Grant Hall of Crawfordsville and Felix Hall of Kentucky, a sister, Mrs. Mary Taylor of Crawfordsville and a half sister, Mrs. Martha Hurley of Kentucky. He was preceded in death by a son, Pvt. Russell Eubanks, who died in the Korean conflict and a step brother, Marion Hall. Services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Gene Warman speaking. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday.-- kbz
